Betsy is a change-maker and loves helping humans discover their passion and, well, legacy. With extensive experience in management consulting and organizational development, she enjoys working with senior leadership to build their dream team. Talent acquisition and career development are some of her many passions. She is also an entrepreneur and has owned several businesses in her past (one was a chocolate company). She specifically loves to coach and teach and realizes the older she gets the more important it is to share all the knowledge she has accumulated in her 50+ years. When John asked her to consider this idea for Legacy, it was an overwhelming “yes”. Betsy is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated with a B.S. from Philadelphia University. She lives in Malibu and loves to travel, especially to Europe. She is currently working on her first non-fiction book focused on being your own Chief Happiness Officer.
John has extensive C-Suite leadership experience and has been a fierce advocate for older adults, disability rights and healthcare accessibility. He is currently the Administration & Compliance Officer for Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC) as well as his role as Chief Development Officer for Legacy Recruitment. John has brought creativity and integrity to the nonprofit sector in Greater Los Angeles for years, serving in such capacities as CEO of Federally Qualified Health Centers, CAO for Outpatient Clinics – Orthopaedic Hospital, Vice President for Community Programs for the Greater Los Angeles Affiliate of the American Heart Association and Executive Director of the Center for Health Care Rights. In addition, John serves on several Boards of non-profit organizations and one international for-profit entity. His passion is social justice and health equity. John is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a J.D. from the Gould School of Law and a B.A. degree in Political Science. He lives in Los Angeles and is a native Angeleno.
